Nancy,

Just curious why the Renwick gallery case study data isn't available? Either Claire Larkin or Mike Edson has it. It's may be relevant because that system did something no other handheld has ever done to my knowledge, it allowed users to draw and send image messages to each other. This was a highly successful feature incorporated by WiVID into the SIguide as well.

Lastly, the by far longest running largest handheld project ever done was the Apple Newton-based ARIF in Kuala Lumpur's Petrosains Science Museum in 1998 and still working. That project also incorporated features that were ground breaking and never reapeated (not because they didn't work) such as simultaneous audio broadcast in dual languages of videos triggered by the device on a remote screen, and, remote control of touchscreens and robots in game scenarios.
