As some of you might already know helping visitors orientation and navigation in the museum through multimedia guides is quite challenging, especially when no context-aware technology is available.
I was wondering if any of you had seen any recent examples (besides that of the Louvre) of applications that attempt to do so, without recurring to location-aware technology.
I also would like to know if have ever seen any kind of visual representation of the physical space that you think might work on a handheld guide?
